With the beginning of serial production of a hatchback Renault Sandero it is planned to lead supplies of domestic auto components at "Avtoframos" up to74%. The new report “Assembly and localization of foreign cars in Russia” of the agency "AUTOSTAT" speaks about this. According to plans of the manufacturer, the second model of Renault – a hatchback Sandero will appear on the Moscow conveyor in February, 2010 and the novelty will be on sale at the beginning of spring.
Sandero and Logan are constructed on one platform, experts remark therefore there is significant amount of unific components in the nomenclature of these models. Body details for manufacture of Sandero will be supplied by “ААТ”. In the future the number of Russian enterprises will be also enlarged by global suppliers of Renault - BASF and Dow Chemical which will organize manufactures of enamels and mastic in Russia and also Inergy plans to begin production of fuel tanks. Besides, "Avtoframos" is interested in localization of chassis, moulding and seat belts.
